Parish Hall ……………… $4.9 million
As Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish continues to thrive, it has become increasingly evident that a parish hall is vital. Within the blueprints for the hall, is a banquet area which will accommodate 500 individuals. A cafeteria is also included for both the school and for the parish entities. The hall will allow our community to gather for both large and small occasions. It will be available for rental for weddings, quinceañeras, and other receptions and celebrations. A kitchen will be central, comprised of two serving lines; one for the cafeteria and the other for the banquet area. In addition, the facility will include four meeting rooms, with seating for up to 75 individuals. With the additional meeting rooms, there will be flexibility to host various sized meetings. As a bonus, generous storage space will be contained within the hall for the ministries to use. Two separate restroom areas, one located near the cafeteria and the other in close proximity to the banquet hall, will provide ample convenience for guests attending an affair in either location. Adequate parking around the parish hall will be available for each event.
Church ……………….. $5.5 million
In recognition of the need for expanded seating capacity, a new Sanctuary is proposed to increase seating from approximately 900 to 1350. The proposed plan will include a large Narthex gathering space as well as a Day Chapel and Eucharistic Adoration Chapel. There will be an area for Vesting separate from the Sacristy. Adequate space will also be allowed for altar servers, lay ministers participating in the Mass, and ushers. Currently, there is a room that serves the dual purpose of a cry room and bride room. The new Sanctuary will have a space designated as a bride room. The need for an expanded and separate audio/visual area has also been designed. The limited restrooms in the current church, have long been an issue of concern. This has been taken into consideration with a generous amount of restroom stalls designed for both men and women. The proposed circular area at the entrance of the church will be a perfect place for gathering when processions are part of the liturgy, such as at the Easter Vigil. There will be adequate parking around the church, with increased spaces designated for handicapped parking.
