The Pastoral Council is a representative body of the parish and is called to enhance the quality and spirituality of parish life. The Pastoral Council's role is to care for and discern the direction of the overall spiritual life, ministerial growth, and needs of the parish. The meetings are open to the entire membership of the parish and are held at 7pm the first Tuesday of every month, September-June, in the Rectory Conference Room.
The Parish Finance and Building Board advises the Pastor on major commitment of funds or parish resources for capital improvements, on investment of funds, and also provide professional and technical advice regarding building and development projects for the parish. Meetings are held on an "as needed" basis.
The Parish Office is the center of much activity at all times of the day, every day of the week. Many parishioners bless us by volunteering their time in assisting the office staff in a variety of ways including helping with bulk mailings, bulletin inserts, answering the telephone, and placing missals in the Church. If you have some free time and would like to volunteer, just call the office.
The Communications Ministry is among our newest organizations at OLPH. Its purpose is to assist in all aspects of communication media (visual, print, the web, multimedia, etc.) as an evangelization tool. The aim of ministry is to work with and among the numerous parish organizations, and the parish at large, to spread the Good News.
