Youth Ministry

GOALS
- To empower youth to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today.
- To draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the faith community.
- To foster the personal and spiritual growth of each youth person.
THEMES
Youth Ministry at OLPH strives to be developmentally appropriate, intergenerational, multicultural, collaborative with other parish groups and the larger community, flexible, and family friendly. It is recognized that the family has the primary responsibility for the faith formation of their youth and is the central place where life and love are celebrated. Youth ministry seeks to lead youth into a deeper faith life within their families, not take them away from their family.
