Requirements for the OLPH First Communion Program:
Student must be in 2nd grade or older
Children will attend in person classes TWICE a month and parents will meet ONCE a month at the parish.
A BAPTISMAL CERTIFICATE MUST BE TURNED IN WITH YOUR REGISTRATION regardless of where the Baptism occurred. You may drop off a copy at the front desk in the Pastoral Center or email a picture to vanessa@olph.org once registration has been submitted.
Student must be actively participating in the First Communion Curriculum. Lack of participation may result in student needing to re-register next year.
Parent and child must practice prayers at home as well as steps for a good Confession.
Parent and child must attend First Reconciliation.
Parent and child must attend the First Communion Retreat in the spring.
Parents must attend the monthly parent meetings. Failure to attend parent meetings could result in student needing to re-register next year.
