The Pastoral Care Office will provide assistance to you and your family in planning and preparing for the Funeral Liturgy of a loved one. We will work with you in helping choose appropriate scripture reading and music to plan a special service.

"At the death of a Christian, whose life of faith was begun inthe waters of Baptism and strengthened at the Eucharistic table, the Church intercedes on behalf of the deceased because of its confident belief that death is not the end, nor does it break the bonds forged in life. The Church also ministers to the sorrowing and consoles them in the funeral rites with the comforting Word of God and the Sacrament of the Eucharist."

In November Grief and the Holidays is offered and is 1 session session. In the Spring an 8 week program Life After Loss is offered in the mornings. Usually beggining in March and going through May. These programs journey with grieving families as they move toward healing. Grief and the Holidays and Life After Loss dates and times are published in the church bulletin.
